The MICROTEST 9560 Transformer Integrated Test System offers a robust and unified platform for assessing both low-voltage electrical characteristics and safety compliance in transformers. Managed through a PC interface, this system features 20 test channels and includes an AC source for dynamic transformer testing—covering open-circuit voltage, excitation current, and no-load power—as well as measuring inductance values. An optional LCR Meter is available, providing selectable test frequencies of 200kHz, 500kHz, and 1MHz.

This integrated test system merges comprehensive low-voltage analysis with AC/DC insulation withstand testing and interlayer short-circuit detection. It covers essential parameters such as inductance, leakage inductance, DC and AC resistance, quality factor, capacitance, turns ratio, and shorted terminals. For safety compliance, it offers AC withstand voltage testing up to 5000V, DC withstand voltage up to 6000V, and insulation impedance up to 12000MΩ. Additionally, the interlayer short-circuit test employs non-destructive high-voltage pulse technology, analyzing damping attenuation waveforms from L/C resonance to identify short-circuit defects within transformer coils or insulation layers.
