The DC Bias Source Testing System integrates the impedance analyzer 6632 with a DC bias source, enabling the analysis of saturation characteristics for inductors, coils, ferrites, and magnetic cores. It also tests relative permeability (μr) to evaluate key properties of magnetic materials.

The system supports magnetic saturation current and temperature rise current scanning analysis, providing research and development engineers with fast and accurate insights into current curve variations. When used in a production line, it offers options for ammeter mode or multi-step mode. Measurement results are displayed numerically, and the system features PC connectivity for data storage and report analysis.
