Fatigue, universal burst

The components of electric vehicles that deliver media are subjected to harsh environments. Dynamic and statistical pressure tests are used to assess the load capacity of metal or plastic pipes, hoses, pressure vessels, pumps and other components. Rapid couplings improve sample adaptation.

Moreover, a quick-change mechanism enables the specimen to be manually mounted outside the test chamber. For the burst test, there are two test circles accessible, each with its own operating mechanism. The wear-free fine-control technology enables an incredibly exact pressure rise of up to 50 bar.

The other test circuit employs a pneumatically powered pressure intensifier to generate pressures of up to 400 bar. Test oil or mains water are commonly utilized as test mediums. A handheld scanner for identifying components and assigning bursting pressures to each one can also be mounted on the test bench.

The system is controlled by a PLC equipped with a serial port for data exchange. The test requirements are entered using a touch panel.
