Burst Test Stand for Plastic Components
On the test stand, the operating system is independent. It was specifically designed with the plastics industry in mind. Test item modification is made easy with the use of quick connectors. Additionally, a quick-change mechanism can be used to manually install objects outside of the test chamber. For the burst test, there are two test circuits available, each with a unique way of operating. A very precise pressure rise of up to 50 bar is possible with the wear-free precision control technology.
In a different test circuit, a 400-bar pressure translator powered by pneumatics is in operation. The test media is either ordinary mains water or test oil.
A hand-held scanner that may be used to identify the components and determine the burst pressures associated with each component can be installed on the test stand.
