Pneumatic leak test bench PPM 1050 Gas

Pneumatic leak test bench PPM 1050 Gas

Pressure for automotive applications for valves

Leak test bench <1050 bar with gas (helium)

Gas pressure tests up to 1050 bar can be performed on the leak test stand. Tests can be carried out using nitrogen, helium, or 95/5 forming gas (N2/H2). The media source is regular 50L gas cylinders or other sources. A sniffer (such as the Inficon P3000XL) finds and records a leak.
The leak test stand includes a unique safety mechanism to keep the operator safe. Water is used to test new components in a safety chamber built to withstand bursting pressure (up to 3000 bar). To prevent component splinters during gas testing, a safety enclosure is installed in the climatic chamber. The box has several flexible hoses attached to it, and the nozzles on the box may detect leaks at various positions on the component. The hoses are connected to the outlets located outside the climate chamber. The sniffer allows the operator to locate the leak at the outputs.

The safety box is disassembled, or its entrance is left open for underwater testing. H2 ontank Valves are a system component that is regularly inspected.
