The Linn High Temp HT-Vac Series is a gastight, cold-wall modular vacuum furnace designed for fast heating cycles and features a double stainless-steel housing for enhanced durability and corrosion resistance. With a compact design, it offers an excellent ratio of space utilization to useful volume. The furnace can reach 1400°C in less than an hour and comes equipped with a standard safety controller for reliable operation. It includes a gas feeding device and a vacuum pumping station with vacuum measurement, ensuring precise process control.
The insulation consists of ceramic fiber boards, while U-shaped MoSi₂ ceramic heaters hang from the oven roof for efficient and uniform heating. Temperature measurement varies by model, with Type S (Pt/Rh) thermocouples in ceramic protection tubes for the HT 1400 and HT 1600, Type B (Pt/Rh) thermocouples for the HT 1800, and a 20/40PtRh thermocouple in a sapphire protection tube for the HT 1800 Plus. The furnace operates within a temperature range of 1400°C to 1820°C, making it an ideal choice for applications requiring precision, efficiency, and reliability in vacuum or controlled atmospheres.
