FBV–VAC–Series

The Linn High Temp FBV-Vac Series is a vacuum-tight cold-wall bottom-loading oven designed for fast thermal cycles. It features a double stainless-steel housing and ceramic fiber board insulation (FBV), ensuring efficient heat retention. The heating system consists of U-shaped MoSi₂ ceramic heating elements suspended from the oven roof, providing four-sided heating for excellent temperature uniformity and high power.

This oven can operate at temperatures up to 1820°C, with precise temperature measurement using different thermocouples: Type S (1600°C) in a ceramic protection tube, Type B (1750°C) in a ceramic protection tube, and PtRh 20/40 (1820°C) in a sapphire protection tube. The heating elements vary based on the temperature range, including MoSi₂ (1300°C), Kanthal ER (1500°C), or metal molybdenum (1820°C). The bottom-loading design allows for easy loading and unloading, making it highly suitable for high-temperature vacuum applications that require rapid heating, high power, and consistent thermal performance.
