The company sells & supports products from companies such as Thermotron Industries, USA, Liebisch Gmbh, Poppe+Potthoff Gmbh, Infinite Electronics USA (Polyphaser, Transtector), France Etuves, Dynavac USA, DATAQ USA And Georgia Thermal Products USA (GTP), and many specialized product solutions / systems in India and the Middle East.
Job Overview
Engineer – Sales position is an individual contributor role. The position is responsible for generating new inquiries, supporting customers with appropriate products, systems, project solutions and successfully closing deals in sales and services rendered by the company.
- Position: Senior Engineer (3 Nos)
- Location: Bangalore
- Education: An engineering or a Science graduate (BTech- EEE, E&C, Mechanical, Instrumentation),B.Sci.
- Experience:6 to 9 years
- Age: Less than 30-35 years
- CTC Range : INR 6LPA-12 LPA + Sales Incentives
- Reports To:Director-Product Sales & Operations
- Experience : Direct Sales of laboratory ovens, incubators, Stability chambers, Micro balances, Vacuum ovens, Thermal blocks, Heating blocks, Freezers, cold rooms dehumidifiers, walk in rooms and other laboratory equipment to pharmaceutical, Bio-tech, Chemical, Life Science and Other industries.
Market familiarity:
Pharmaceutical, Bio-Tech, Chemical, Life Science industries in Karnataka, Telangana and other South regions.
Roles & Responsibility
- Develop / generate a healthy opportunity pipeline spread across cash and capital equipment products / services
- Develop / generate and maintain a healthy sales opportunity pipeline distributed between private and public / government agencies to meet the short-term, medium- term and long-term business goals.
- Drive & achieve/exceed forecast, grow sales and increase cumulative market share on y-o-y basis.
- Work with Sales Coordinators and Application (Product) Engineers during quoting process.
- Prepare techno-commercials proposals for private and government agencies and own all levels of winning the sales order.
- Negotiate tender and contract terms & conditions to meet both client and company objectives.
- Demonstrate and present products / system solution / service capability of STECH to the current/potential customers.
- Participate in various teams and initiatives within the company as the job demands.
- Develop vertical sales strategy with each customer by engaging with all departments associated with capital equipment procurement (E.g. Facility/Maintenance, Engineering, Project Management, Purchasing, Executive relationships, Manufacturing/Works, Finance, etc.).
- Ensure regular market outreach activities through participation in relevant programs organized by credible external agencies (govt/industry associations/corporate), to enhance Company branding & exploring business opportunities
- Comply with all company policies and procedures and ensure the reporting team adheres to the same.
- Support the company’s protection of intellectual property.
- Comply with the non-disclosure, code of conduct, intellectual property, and other guidelines as set by the respective customers and suppliers.
- Liaise with internal and cross functional team for all pre-sales, sales & post sales activities.
- Support all other initiatives of the Company as desired by the management./li>
